The Wisdom Page

Copthorne Macdonald's
Streaming Media Materials

(The Wisdom Page Podcast has additional Cop Macdonald audio materials.)

NOTE:

Recent versions of RealPlayer and Windows Media Player software permit access to streaming media presentations. The "streaming media" approach permits listening to (and in some cases simultaneously viewing) audio and audio-visual materials on line, in real time, with only a short startup delay. Some of the presentations below are available in more than one format or connection speed. Pick the one that best fits your situation.

If you are using a Windows PC and Windows Media Player software, the MP3 and WMA feeds will start to play right away in streaming media fashion if Windows Media Player has been selected as the default player for these file types. If it is not the default player, you may find that the files just silently download instead of playing. To correct this situation, start Windows Media Player, click Tools, then Options, then the File Types tab. The boxes next to MP3 Audio File (mp3) and Windows Media Audio File (wma) must contain check marks. See that they do, click Apply, then click OK.
