Monisha Pasupathi

Introduction:     Monisha Pasupathi is Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Utah. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology from Stanford University in 1997, and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development's Center for Lifespan Psychology from 1997 to 1999. While her current research focus is "relations between storytelling and the self," some of her research has had an explicit wisdom focus. Recently, for example, she and M.J. Richardson wrote a chapter titled "Young and Growing Wiser: Wisdom during Adolescence and Young Adulthood" that appeared in A Handbook of Wisdom: Psychological Perspectives edited by Robert J. Sternberg and Jennifer Jordan.
